Dissemination of law on water resources

Under the Vietnamese government’s decrees and circulars, the decision of Binh Thuan People’s Committee, the enterprises have received information on the registered groundwater extraction, filling in forms, reissuing permits, discharge of waste-water into water sources, protection of groundwater resources, sanitary protection area of drinking water, sanctioning of administrative violations in the field…

For protection of groundwater resource, boreholes and well drilling companies… must have permits. Residents drill wells after reporting the Commune People's Committee. The unusual occurrences (land subsidence, water loss, serious water overflow) are notified to the local government, division of natural resources and environment in district.
