Phan Thiet to begin the construction of waste treatment plant

BTO- Department of Planning and Investment of Binh Thuan province lately granted investment certificate to the project of Phan Thiet Waste Treatment Plant. The plant, invested by Nhat Hoang Limited Company with the total capital of VND 495 billion, covers a total land area of 10 hectares in Tien Thanh commune.

With a capacity of 400 tons per day, the municipal waste treatment facility can treat rubbish for the whole city, using Tam Sinh Nghia technology, which bases on the model of 3T (recycling organic sweepings for cultivation; separating garbage to make it into micro-organic fertilizer and produce recycled plastic; avoiding the burial of waste. This waste treatment model helps ensure the performance of sustainable and eco-friendly development of Phan Thiet city. The construction is expected to start in November, 2016 and put into operation in the middle of next year.
