Local tourism revenues edged up 18.2 percent on year

BTO – Thanks to local authorities’ good management on tourism activity, the number of tourist arrivals to Binh Thuan keeps growing, especially on the peak seasons of New Year holidays. Binh Thuan is expected to welcome around 4,522 turns of visitors, exceeding 2.5 percent of the year plan, rising by 11.2 percent since a year ago. Of those, international visitors accounted for 503.8 thousand, a year-on-year increase of 11.2 percent.
Such great volume of tourist arrivals have contributed VND 9,046 billion to the province’s tourism revenues in 2016, a year-on-year rise of 18.4 percent.
The functional authorities have implemented a number of measures to keep security, order, safety, food hygiene, service prices and quality for travelers at many tourist spots across the province.
