Binh Thuan:  Nearly VND 2.3 billion raised for flood victims in central region

BTO - In response to the Central Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front’s call for giving relief aid to flood-stricken provinces in the central region, Binh Thuan provincial Committee of Vietnam Fatherland Front has launched a fundraising drive to collect donations from individuals, departments, organizations and businesses in the locality. After 5 days of launching (from October 20 to 24, 2016), the organization received a total donation of VND 2,262,942,000. In which, over VND 435 million were sent directly to the account of  the provincial relief fund, many delegations headed to the provinces of Quang Binh, Quang Tri, Nghe An, Ha Tinh , Thua Thien-Hue to directly present aid to flood victims with a total cash of VND 1.8 billion and EUR 200.
