Binh Thuan: 14,920 junior students sit 10th grade entrance examination

BTO- This Friday morning (July 15th), as many as 14,920 examinees throughout the province has entered the 10th grade  entrance examination for the upcoming school year 2016-2017 at 24 exam boards.

This year, the figure of candidates falls by 1,000 in comparison with that of last year. Of which, Phan Boi Chau high school has the highest number of candidates with 1,415 students/57 exam rooms, followed by Phan Chu Trinh high school with 994 examinees/38 exam rooms. High school has the least candidates is Huynh Thuc Khang (in Ham Tan district) with only 157 students/7 rooms.

Previously, all contestants gathered to the appointed exam boards to grasp the exam regulations on Thursday afternoon (July 14th). The 10th grade entrance examination comprises 3 subjects, including: Vietnamese Literature, Mathematics and English language. The exam will start with Vietnamese Literature in the morning of July 15th in 120 minutes, and English in the afternoon in 60 minutes. On the following morning (July 16th), examinees will wind up their 2-day exam with Mathematics test.
