Mui Ne still safe and peaceful destination for domestic and international tourists

BTO- Over the past recent days, tourists, locals and authorities of the central coastal province of Binh Thuan showed their concerns about the stability and safety of one of the most famous tourist destination of Mui Ne after the protest. However, the incident came to an end thanks to joint efforts of the local and national people and cadres.

Regarding the information that tourists canceling their tours to Binh Thuan, Chairman of the Binh Thuan Tourism Association confirmed that there were some cases of traffic jams on the national highway 1A, causing some inconveniences for tourists when traveling through the site.

Consequently, the authorities of tourism sector released plans to ensure tourists’ safety without any additional charges. Other travel activities in the province are kept normal. Mr. Matthew Edward Argent, an Autralian tourist, said that he knew the incident happened some days ago, but he felt safe and fine when staying in Mui Ne. “I have been here twice, the service is well and it makes me feel confortable”, he added.

Visiting Hon Rom tourist area on June 13rd, a lot of cars carrying tourist filled both sides of the street. A tourist from Can Tho city told us that she found everything here is fine and it is still an ideal destination for tourists.

Otherwise, many tourists showed their sad sentiment when talking about the protest led by agitated protestors. Mr. Dang Danh Nhan, a tourist from Ben Tre, advised people should be calm and trust in the Party’s and State’s policies. He still visited Mui Ne for his family’s summer vacation because of beautiful landscape, delicious food, good services and friendly people.

The number of tourists to the locality is now slightly increasing as the summer vacation is at peak.
