Binh Thuan to send laborers to South Korea for seasonal work

BTO- Department of Labour, Invalid and Social Affairs recently worked with authorities of Pyong Chang (Gangwon prefecture of South Korea) over the implementation of an agreement on seasonal employment between the two localities.

Accordingly, the South Korean counterpart asked Binh Thuan to select about 70 local labourers for seasonal work this year (from July to October). Department of Labour, Invalid and Social Affairs has directed the provincial Center for Employment Services to cooperate with representatives of Pyong Chang County in disseminating information and giving instruction to laborers to complete all procedures before getting the approval of the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs.

Leaders of the provincial People’s Committee also asked department of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs to work with functional bodies to carry out the agreement, ensuring necessary conditions to send local workers to Pyong Chang in a right time.
