Export turnover overfulfiled its year plan ahead of year-end 2016

BTO –In November, Binh Thuan has realized a total export turnover at USD 36.18 million, a month-on-month increase of nearly 12 percent and a year-on-year rise of 10.67 percent. As a whole, the activity of export has so far brought an appropriate turnover of USD 317.39 million to the locality since the early 2016, increasing 6.72 percent over a year ago and exceeding 1.4 percent over the 2016’s target of USD 313 million.

Among the three major exports of Binh Thuan, seafood has fetched a turnover of USD 124.44 million (a year-on-year increase of 13 percent) and agricultural products has generated USD 11.99 million (up nearly 15 percent). The greatest contributor is miscellaneous commodities with an export turnover of nearly USD 181 million and maintains its growth rate of 2.37 percent over the same period last year. In which, garments exports contributed more than USD 130 million.
