BTO –People’s Committee of Song Binh commune and the Office of World Vision Organization in Bac Binh district have recently granted 100 water tanks and 160 bottles of drinking water, sized 20 liters each, to 100 disadvantaged households in 3 seriously drought-ravaged hamlets of Hon Moc (34 households), Cau Vuot (33 households) and Tan Hoa (33 households). Apart from those extremely difficult households, the World Vision Organization also gave support to families having small children, people with disabilities, lonely elderly, pregnant women, female householders.
During the period of long-lasting drought, the Bac Binh district’s office of World Vision organization has held several humane activities in support of a total of 400 households in the drought-prone areas: Binh Tan, Song Luy, Phan Tien, Hong Phong, Phan Thanh and Binh An.
