BTO- According to the department of Trade and Industry, the province’s export turnover has reached USD 36.12 million, a on-month rise of 21.98 percent and on-year increase of 31.02 percent. As a whole, the total export turnover of the locality over the first seven months has generated around USD 187.91 million, gaining 60.04 percent of the year plan. Of these, seafood exports fetched USD 71.47 million (up 14.61 percent), agricultural exports realized USD 5.6 million (down 9.54 percent), miscellaneous groups generated USD 110.85 million, (up 1.68 percent).
In comparison with the same periods last year, seafood exports posted growth both in quantity (57.25 percent) and value (15.49 percent); Likewise, garments and dragon fruit also earned high values in exports with a growth of 16.52 percent and 6.44 percent, respectively. As of July 2016, rubber latex performed pretty high increase in quantity (119.25 percent) .
