Ham Thuan Bac steps up rural road construction thanks to people’s donation

BTO - Over the first half of 2016, the movement of doing rural road construction work in Ham Thuan Bac district has been strongly responded by local people. Therefore, an additional 11.7 kilometers of cement concrete was built and put into use, fulfilling 78.2 percent of the whole year’s plan. The total investment cost of this work is over VND 8.6 billion, including VND 2.9 billion contributed by local residents. Besides, people also actively donated money to repair another 12.6 kilometers of road in the locality to ensure favorable transport with a total value of VND 360 million. 7 more communes have mobilized their residents and enterprises to get involved in building the model of “bright-green-clean-nice and safe traffic routes”, which costs about VND 200 million in total.
