Provincial Party Committee Secretary Duong Van An hosted Danish Ambassador

BTO- Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Duong Van An on January 19 hosted a reception for Danish ambassador to Vietnam Kim Hojlund Christensen. The event also had the attendance of vice chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Hoa and leaders of departments/branches/agencies.

 

At the meeting, the ambassador of  Denmark Kim Hojlund Christensen thanked the province’s leaders for their warm welcome. Mr. Christensen also gave a general introduction about Orsted Company, a Danish leading renewable energy company in developing offshore wind power projects. The company is interested in investing in an offshore wind power plant in Binh Thuan. Ambassador Kim Hojlund Christensen shared his hope that Binh Thuan’s authorities would continue giving support to Danish investors.

Secretary Duong Van An warmly welcomed the visit of Danish delegation, stressing that the embassy of Denmark in Vietnam would promote its role in connecting Danish enterprises with Binh Thuan province. He vowed that Binh Thuan government would create favourable conditions for foreign enterprises investing in renewable energy projects in Binh Thuan.
