As reported, 5 organizations and 56 households are affected by the implementation of the project due to land acquisition.Since the beginning of the project, Phan Thiet city People’s Committee has approved site clearance compensation plan for 5 organizations and 35 households with a total cost of VND 60.3 million. 5 organizations and 32 households received compensation money and handed over the recovered a total land area of 401.2 hectares, making up 73.9 percent of the project’s area. Currently, Phan Thiet city’s land fund development center in collaboration with local authorities are considering legality to offer compensation prices for the remaining land area in order to complete the work as soon as possible.
