Provincial leaders visited and offered gifts to families of revolutionary contributors

BTO - On the 69th anniversary of War Invalids &Martyrs’ Day (July 27, 1947 to 27, 2016),

Secretary of the provincial Party Committee Nguyen Manh Hung and a delegation including leaders of Phan Thiet city’s Party Committee, Department of Labour-Invalids and Social Affairs, provincial Military High Command and the provincial Party Committee’s Office, on July 23, paid visit and presented gifts to war invalids, sick soldiers and people with contributions to national revolution who are taken care at the provincial Social Sponsoring Center (Phu Tai ward-Phan Thiet city).

The delegation also visited to pay compliments to Vietnamese Heroic Mother Phan Thi Duong (Duc Long ward, Phan Thiet city), Martyr’s mother Nguyen Thi Hue (Tien Loi commune-Phan Thiet city), and sick solder Nguyen Van Sot in Tien Thanh commune. On behalf of the province’s leadership, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung warmly gave his regards to families, wished them good health and happy life. He also expressed deep gratitude to the martyrs and war invalids’ contributions and sacrifice for the national independence and freedom. He hoped that they would continue acting as good examples for younger generations to promote patriotic tradition, well comply with the Party’s policies and State’s laws, and actively participate in working, production for the homeland’s prosperity.

Earlier, on July 22, deputy secretary of the provincial Party Committee Duong Van An and leader of the provincial Police visited and offered presents to war invalids Truong Van Con (Hoa Phu commune) and Le Van Huynh (Hoa Minh commune) in Tuy Phong district.

Mr. An heartily shared difficulties with revolutionary contributors and conveyed his deep thanks to remarkable contributions of policy-favored families in the cause of national liberation. He wished that they would keep on striving to overcome health complications to better themselves.
