Binh Thuan: 89.25 percent of students passing national high school graduation exam

BTO- Department of Education and Training of Binh Thuan province on July 25 officially released the results of 2016 national high school graduation exam. Accordingly, the province’s graduation percentage is 89.25 percent (including high school education and continuing education), a year-on-year increase of 2.52 percent. In particular, 92.2 percent of high school students of school year 2015-2016 passed this year’s graduation exam (the figure of school year 2014-2015 is 87.86 percent).

According to local education sector, Tran Hung Dao gifted high school is the only one school in the province gaining a graduation rate of 100 percent, followed by 13 schools with 90 percent and above, including Duc Tan (91.70 percent), Ham Thuan Bac (90.43 percent), Hung Vuong (91.28 percent), Huynh Thuc Khang (91.11percent), Ly Thuong Kiet (94.5p percent), Nguyen Hue (91.4 percent), Nguyen Thi Minh Khai (96.77 percent), Phan Chu Trinh (92.67 percent), provincial Boarding School for ethnic students (90.15 percent), Quang Trung (90.83 percent), Le Quy Don (92 percent), Le Loi (94.57 percent ), Tuy Phong (91.36 percent). Another 12 schools fulfiled graduation rates of over 80 percent are: Bac Binh (89.6 percent), Bui Thi Xuan (84.65 percent), Duc Linh (88.97 percent), Ham Tan (86.36 percent), Ham Thuan Nam (86.98 percent), Hoa Da (85.37 percent), Luong The Vinh (81.94 percent), Ngo Quyen (88.95 percent), Nguyen Van Troi (85.03 percent), Phan Boi Chau (89.81 percent), Phan Thiet (84.37 percent), Tanh Linh (88.75 percent).  Nguyen Van Linh, Nguyen Truong To high schools have the lowest results with 74.12 percent and 66.67 percent of students passing the exam.
