The oil spill response maneuver took place with the attendance of the Steering Committee of Oil Spill Response (Directly Under the Department of Natural Resources and Environment), representatives of the provincial Steering Committee for Natural Disasters Prevention, Search and Rescue; branch office of Sea and Island affairs, Binh Thuan Marine Port Authority, Tuy Phong district, Power Generation Corporation 3 (EVNGENCO 3), leaders as well as the 32-member Oil Spill Response team of Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company.
As reported, Vinh Tan Thermal Power Company is the first unit in Binh Thuan to hold oil spill response rehearsal, that proves the company’s commitment to the community and local residents.
