Deputy PM Trinh Dinh Dung visited Vinh Hao Mineral Water Plant

BTO – Deputy Prime Minister Trinh Dinh Dung paid a visit to Vinh Hao mineral water plant on September 30^th on within the framework of the groundbreaking ceremony of the North-South expressway, Vinh Hao-Phan Thiet section in Binh Thuan province.

The Vinh Hao Mineral Water Plant is the first Vietnam’s brand name of its kind. Vinh Hao mineral spring has been well-known as one of famous destination of Binh Thuan. Legend has it that, Huyen Tran Princess was the person who named the Mineral Spring as Vinh Hao that has a meaning of “Good forever and ever”.

On January 28^th, 1928, the Socíeté Civile D'Etudes Des Eaux Minérals De Vinh Hao Company started exploiting and commercializing the mineral water there since they appraised the quality of Vinh Hao mineral water similar to that of the World famous mineral water Vichy in France.

In October 1930, Vinh Hao plant could generate an output of 3,000 liters per hour. That was the first time Vietnam had a mineral water product named Vichy-Vinh Hao, that overwhelmed the largest market share in Vietnam at that time. Without standstill, the Vinh Hao continued to reach out to Indochina countries and exported to choosy countries such as: The US, Australia, Canada and Taiwan, etc., affirming its international level.

In the new development phase, Vinh Hao Mineral Water Joint Stock Company is striving for reaffirm its pioneering position of the Vietnamese brand-name that has been trusted by consumers for more than 80 years. The company bravely invested in technology innovation and imported the most advanced and automatic production chain from the US, Poland to meet the increasing demands of customers.

To bring the best quality products to many more customers, Vinh Hao takes the lead in building its quality management system in accordance with international standards. Vinh Hao Mineral Water has registered for its quality via the Food and Drug Administration of the United States (FDA). It is recognized as high-quality product that can export to the US.

From the first mineral water brand name of Vietnam, Vinh Hao has currently developed its product portfolio from Vinh Hao carbonated mineral water and non-carbonated mineral water, suitable for daily use. Additionally, the factory also researches, develops and releases to the markets its soft drinks based on mineral water, notably Lemona Mineral product, a very popular one to consumers.
