Binh Thuan’s quarantined facilities re-activated and ready for use

BTO- Binh Thuan provincial Center for Disease Control in coordination with the provincial Military Command made an inspection to a number of concentrated quarantined facilities in Ham Thuan Bac district and Phan Thiet city on the February 4th afternoon.

At inspected-sites, it finds that all necessary supplies and equipment are fully prepared and well arranged in accordance with medical regulations. Backup plans for material and equipment provision and food supply have been also set up if the number of quarantined people increases.

Additionally, the functional authorities have re-instructed all procedures on reception and disinfection, reporting and communicating regulations, etc.

In the face of complicated developments of the Covid-19 pandemic, especially the presence of new variant strains of coronavirus, it should carefully conduct a classification of isolation cases in the prevention of cross-contamination among quarantined people.

Currently, Binh Thuan has a total of 25 quarantined facilities, with a maximum capacity of more than 3,000 people. In which, 17 are state-owned quarantined facilities, 1 of Vinh Tan thermal Power Center, and 7 private hotels are paid quarantined facilities.
