Binh Thuan sent 14 health workers to reinforce Ho Chi Minh City in the Covid-19 fight

BTO – As many as 14 doctors and nurses from An Phuoc Hospital (Binh Thuan province) left Binh Thuan province on July 13th morning to join the fight against Covid-19 in Ho Chi Minh City.

Earlier, under the Ho Chi Minh Young Doctors Association's request, An Phuoc General Hospital decided to set up an assistance team of health workers, including 6 doctors and 8 nurses in the specialties of intensive care, emergency resuscitation, and outpatient emergency, artificial kidney, internal medicine, infection control. The medical staff team will assist Ho Chi Minh City in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic from July 13th and 31st, 2021. All the activity funds are sourced from this hospital's budget.

Doctor Phan Ngoc Hung – Director of An Phuoc General Hospital confirmed that: “In response to the call of the Ho Chi Minh Young Physicians Association for health worker reinforcement, An Phuoc general hospital has arranged 14 physician volunteers to Ho Chi Minh City in support of the City’s fight against Covid-19 pandemic.

All volunteers have been tested negative with Sars-CoV-2 via PCR methods before leaving for Ho Chi Minh City. The assistance team will support the health staff at the Hospital for Rehabilitation and Treatment of Occupational Diseases in district 8, Ho Chi Minh City.
