Toyota Vietnam grants scholarships to excellent students

Toyota Motor Vietnam (TMV) has granted Toyota scholarships 2016 worth VND700 million to 115 outstanding students majoring in the technical, mechanical and environmental studies from 16 universities nationwide.

This is the 19th year the program has been implemented, aiming to uphold the learning tradition and promote creativity in scientific research among university students, and contribute to human resources training and development of Vietnam’s industry in general and the automobile industry in particular.

This year, TMV also granted 32 sets of technical equipment to support teaching facilities and activities in these 16 universities. The winning students will have a chance to join a Monozukuri course on how to succeed in manufacturing and business.

The course’s objective is to help them approach and gain a deeper understanding of the Toyota Production System and the company’s key to success.

The Monozukuri training course is scheduled for January and February 2017. In addition, a seminar on job orientation will be held for the students in the coming time.
