BTO – On August 30th morning, the People’s Committee of Duc Linh district and the Thien Chi (Goodwill) Community Development & Support Center observed a cross-country run to raise fund for needy students in the school year 2016-2017. Participating in the running, there were 22,000 civil servants and students in the district. Through the run, more than VND 82 million was raised from cadres, civil servants and students and 450 scholarships, worth VND 270 million from Thien Chi center. All proceeds were granted to the Study Encouragement Fund of the district.
This is an annual fundraising activity of Duc Linh district to assist and encourage disadvantaged students to continue their study.
