Binh Thuan allows K-12 students 01 more week off to avoid coronavirus spread

BTO - As of Sunday afternoon, the Director of Binh Thuan department of Education and Training Phan Doan Thai issued announcement that allows K-12 students to stay home one more week in prevention of the possible spread of the novel coronavirus. The province’s K-12 students are slated to get back school on February 10th instead of Feb 3rd as earlier plan.

On the same day, Mr. Thai signed document asking the Health Department to assist the education sector to implement sterilization to avoid the novel coronavirus outbreak in Vietnam.

During the closure days, the schools will be sterilized to curb the spread of the disease. Medical staff give advises and instructions to students and teachers to take care of their health. Students are encouraged to wear face masks and frequently wash their hands with soap and clean water to stay safe.

Food hygiene and safety at schools’ kitchen are taken into serious consideration.
