Binh Thuan bags 3 medals at the Southeastern regional photo contest

BTO- The 24th Southeastern regional photo contest 2016, hosted by the Ninh Thuan Association of Literatures and Arts, was kicked off in Phan Rang – Thap Cham city, Ninh Thuan province on August 24th by under the theme “The country – the People of the Southeastern region”.

BTO- The 24th Southeastern regional photo contest 2016, hosted by the Ninh Thuan Association of Literatures and Arts, was kicked off in Phan Rang – Thap Cham city, Ninh Thuan province on August 24th by under the theme “The country – the People of the Southeastern region”.

After a launching period, the organizers has received some 1,992 entries from 269 amateur and professional authors across 8 provinces of Ba Ria- Vung Tau, Binh Duong, Binh Phuoc, Tay Ninh, Binh Thuan, Ninh Thuan and Lam Dong. After 3-round online grading, the jury decided to pick up 136 works of 91 authors to the final round. Of the whole, Binh Thuan delegation won 1 silver, 2 bronze medals, 2 consolation prizes and another team prize like the host.

This year’s contest, the gold medal went to the photo “Moment of the childhood” of author Huynh Cong Nghia from Ninh Thuan province.

Dai Ninh Pass is not the highest area in the Phan Son and Phan Lam forests, but this is the peak of the National Highway 28B connecting the two provinces of Binh Thuan and Lam Dong.
