100 disadvantaged students get free swimming classes

BTO – On May 27th, the Ho Chi Minh Communist Youth Union of Phan Thiet city in cooperation with functional bodies of Phan Thiet city has opened 2 classes to teach swimming skills and technique for disadvantaged students. The beneficiaries include 100 students, aging from 7 to 10 living in 18 wards, communes of Phan Thiet city. Those students can get free swimming lessons at the province’s center for talented sports and gymnastics. The lessons focus on swimming techniques that helps youngsters can deal with dangerous situation when swimming.

The free-of-charge swimming classes lasts nearly 2 months, contributing to reducing unfortunate accident of drowning and creating a healthy, safe and useful playground for children during the summer time.
