The recently-issued directive aims at preventing wastefulness and assisting the needy people and improving people’s living conditions, especially for those who are living in border areas, on islands as well as flood-ravaged regions.
The local authorities were requested to enhance measures in prevention of crimes, social evils and fire. In the meantime, it is asked to forbid the production and consumption of fireworks; ensure social order, security, road safety and transportation for the best sake of the whole society before, during and after Tet holiday.
