Taiwanese ship safely pulled into the Phu Quy island

BTO- At 3:00 PM on December 14th, a Taiwanese ship of Yong Shun Li 36901, protection brand of BH3223 carrying the crew of 9 people was safely pulled toward the Phu Quy island by the Vietnam’s ship of Hoang Phuc 16.

As earlier reported, the cargo-boat Yong Shun Li 36901 met incidents of running out of fuel while moving at the coordinates 09057'750 N- 109013'465 E, far from Phu Quy island approximately 30 nautical miles (near Hon Hai area). At the time the Taiwan’s ship encountering the incident, the weather in Binh Thuan’s waters was badly affected by tropical depression with strong waves and high winds. After verifying the information, the Border Guard Command of Binh Thuan had ordered the border guard station of Phu Quy district to cooperate with Hoang Phuc 16 vessel to rescue the boat in distress. As of November 14th, the entire crew and the vessel Yong Shun Li 36901 were taken to the Phu Quy island for refueling and providing essentials.
