Binh Thuan: Culture and sports festival of ethnic community 2016 held

BTO - Last night (December 12th ), more than 300 artisans, artists, athletes of 9 teams coming from Phan Thiet city and districts of Tuy Phong, Bac Binh, Ham Thuan Bac, Ham Thuan Nam and Tanh Linh have taken part in Culture and Sports Festival of Ethnic Community 2016 in Binh Thuan. There are various attractive activities attracting domestic and foreign visitors

This event has taken place within 2 days (December 15 – 16^th) to celebrate the 70th anniversary of National Resistance Day, the 72nd founding anniversary of the Vietnam People's Army and the 27th Vietnamese Whole People's Defence Festival. The festival has introduced local cultural traits such as folk games (rod pushing and tug of war), traditional music, ethnic costumes show, sport competitions…

At the festival, vice chairman of Binh Thuan People’s Committee Nguyen Duc Hoa said that the Culture and sports festival of ethnic community 2016 in Binh Thuan expresses their solidarity, upholds the value of cultural heritages and promotes sustainable tourism development in Binh Thuan.
