Binh Thuan culinary topic on the way to get accomplishment

BTO – The topic, named “Building a model for conservation and exploitation of intellectual property in the field of Binh Thuan’s Cuisine and gift specialties to promote the province’s tourism development” are on the way to get official acceptance in the upcoming time. 

A culinary handbook is printed in 3 languages of Vietnamese - English - Russian

Over the past time, the topic has been conducted by the Center of Informatics and advanced Scientific and Technological application (under the Department of Sciences and Technology). Initially, the unit in-charge has deployed various related contents in terms of the conservation and exploitation of intellectual properties, such as: Cuisine model in Ham Tien – Mui Ne, Cuisine Model in the cluster area of Hai Thuong Lan Ong – Tran Phu – Tran Hung Dao (Phan Thiet), model of gift specialties in Ham My – Ham Thuan Nam.

In addition, almost all of 1,000 brochures introducing local specialties have been recognized by Vietnam’s Top specialties journey and 500 volumes of “Culinary handbook” in terms of photos, information, etc.

Through first implementation, the Center has teamed up with local travel accommodations to deploy a pilot program, named “Experiencing Binh Thuan via the People and Cuisine”. The newly-deployed tour is considered as a new chance for holiday-makers an exciting moment of the south central coastal city of Phan Thiet. It also helps a part in boosting Binh Thuan’s tourism.
