Newly-established enterprises surge by 30 percent

BTO – According to the Department of Planning and Investment, as many as 631 new enterprises have been registered for operation, a year-on-year increase of 28.3 percent, bringing to the total newly-established businesses to 6.900, with a total registering capital of VND 101,250 billion.

Nevertheless, other 113 enterprises halted their operation, and 69 ones are dissolved. Up to now, the locality saw 3,930 enterprises coming into business and operation, up 6.7 percent over the same period last year.

The figure contributes to solve employment for over 19,200 workers, up 1.01 percent and brought around 6,733 billion VND to the state budget, a year-on-year increase of 25.45 percent.
