BTO-From September 26 to 30, 2016, international sand sculptors are working to finish sand statues at the National Sports and Physical Training Center No.2 (Nguyen Thong street-Phu Hai ward-Phan Thiet city)on display to serve for local residents and visitors as a new tourism product. The event is part of many activities in preparation for a Sculpture festival in the park called “Forgotten Land” in Phan Thiet city, which is planned to open in the beginning of 2017.
For the first time in Vietnam, Phan Thiet city has been chosen to be the venue of sand statue display. The park named “Forgotten Land” will be officially launched on January 29, 2017 (or the 2nd day of the lunar new year-the Year of the Chicken) with many famous sand sculpture works under the theme “Vietnamese and World’s fairy tales and legends”. There will be 17 sand statues which highlighted by the model of a giant dinosaur made by professional sand sculptors from 12 countries: Belgium, Brazil, Canada, Czech Republic, Italy, Japan, Litvia, the Netherland, Togo, Russia, Singapore and the US.
