Eco Seido solar
power plant inaugurated in Tuy Phong

Energy Eco Seido Company Limited on June 16 held a ceremony to inaugurate Eco
Seido Solar Power plant in Phu Lac commune-Tuy Phong district after 5 months of
construction.
The ceremony
had the attendance of Mr. Hoang Quoc Vuong- deputy Minster of Industry and
Trade, Mr. Tran Van Luong from Industrial Safety Techniques and Environment
Agency (directly under the Ministry of Industry and Trade), Mr. Pham Manh Thang
–board member of EVN, Mr. Nguyen Manh Hung-secretary of the provincial Party
Committee of Binh Thuan province, and representatives of departments, agencies,
localities of Tuy Phong district.
Eco Seido solar
power plant, which is invested with a combined capital of 1.153 trillion, has
a capacity (1st phrase) of 40 megawatts and covers a total land area
of 130 hectares. The projects uses 143,000 photovoltaic solar panels, 7
inverters and a 63-MVA transformer provided by world-leading manufacturers. The
plant has been connected with national power grid via 110 KV Phan Ri-Ninh Phuoc
power line and 110 KV Phan Ri transformer.
Eco Seido solar
power plant is expected to generate over 90 million kWh of electric per year,
create jobs for 50 local residents (30 unskilled workers, 20 with
university/college/ intermediate degrees) with average income of VND 100 million
per capital per year, and contribute about VND 30 billion to the state budget.
As planned, the
completed Eco Seido solar power plant Tuy Phong has a total area of 300 ha,
going through mountains and hills of the two communes of Phu Lac and Phong Phu (Tuy
Phong district), and a designed capacity of 100 MW. The plant has 3 separate
phrases; the first one (2016-2018) has a capacity of 40 MW AC, the second one
(2018-2020) has a capacity of 30 MW AC, and the last one (2010 onwards) has a
capacity of 30 MW AC.
The land area
where the project is located has a yearly average for total hours of sunshine
between 2,900 and 3,100, and average rainfall of 100ml.
