BTO – To favor newly-established businesses operating in manufacturing, Binh Thuan authorities have issued a number of incentives and solutions to encouraging their full competitiveness.

Businesses in Binh Thuan are forged to develop

Targeted at an annual 12.5 percent growth of newly-formed businesses (an equivalent to 615 ones), bringing a total number of newly-established enterprises of 7,000 by 2020. The target seems to be completed in the first half of 2019 as an additional 362 new businesses have come into operation, a year-on-year increase of 26 percent. As of now, the newly-registered enterprises in Binh Thuan have hit nearly 6,700, including 3,930 operational ones, a year-on-year growth of 6.7 percent.

In the context of certain difficulties, there is a fact that local businesses have achieved many positive changes thanks to their almost efforts and favorable environment with incentives from the government.

In May 2019, the People’s committee of Binh Thuan held a conference, entitled “Improving business environment, enhancing competitiveness at province level”. At the conference, businesses and local leaders got chances to discuss, spoke out their adversities and sought for solutions.

The local authorities’ support for businesses showed clearly through practical actions, helping them keep their stability and development. Notably, the conferences to connect Binh Thuan’s entrepreneurs to partners in Ninh Thuan, Lam Dong, Ho Chi Minh and even the Chinese traders were also held last year. In the meantime, the Department of Natural Resources and Environment in coordination with the Department of Finance and the Department of Taxation have implemented many administrative reforms to smooth the businesses’ application and administrative procedures.

As projected, the Department of Planning and Investment will observe an Investment Promotion Conference in September 2019, which calls upon the investment in hi-tech agricultural application to the 2,000-hectare area in Bac Binh district.

Also putting forwards enterprises, Binh Thuan authorities also take care of the implementation of Decree No.09 dated April 1st, 2019 issued by the Prime Minister on addressing difficulties for production businesses, striving for the province’s economic growth in 2019.

Included in the plan, the Department of Trade and Industry is urged to expand domestic and foreign cooperation, stepping up promotion, expanding consumption markets for agro-fishery products. At the same time, technical barriers in exports production are also noticed so that they can give effective and timely measures in favor of businesses, leveling up Binh Thuan’s advantageous export products.
