Tourist accommodations in Binh
Thuan have started to reopen for visitors while strictly implementing preventive
measures to ensure tourists’ safety. According to estimated reports , Binh Thuan
welcomed about 89,300 turns of tourists in May, an increase of 86.2% in
comparison with the previous month, but a stumble of 81.39% compared with the
same month of last year. Tourist volume in five-month period gained 1,435 turns,
falling by 41.38% against the corresponding period of 2019.
The number of foreign tourists
coming to Binh Thuan has regained growth, with 2,709 turns, an increase of
76.78% compared with the previous month (falling by 95.48% comapared with last
year’s May). Tourism revenue reached an estimate of VND 440.6 billion in May,
raising by 62.75% compared with April but sinking by 81.39% compared with the
same month last year. Five-month revenue achieved over VND 4.205 trillion (down
32.02% in comparison with the same period last year).
During the national holiday (April
30 and May 1), Binh Thuan saw the increasing number of domestic tourist
arrivals. Most of local tourism enterprises have well prepared material
facilities, improved quality of all services to welcome back tourists.
