Province’s Party Leader inspected coastal erosion in Phan Thiet

BTO – Secretary of the Provincial Party committee Duong Van An, together with leader of the Department of Agriculture and Rural development toured and checked situation of coastal erosion around the coastal areas in Phan Thiet city on October 28^th afternoon.

At the visited-site of Tien Thanh and Hung Long communes, Secretary An met the local residents and shared with their difficulties as the flood ties frequently occurs and affects their daily life.

Through the fact-finding tour, Party leader An appraised the functional bodies in addressing urgent situation affected by natural disaster, urging them to temporarily repair the collapsed junk, ensuring the people’s safety during the current and upcoming storms. For a long-term orientation, it is need to build solid and comprehensive embankments as soon as state budget can be disbursed.
