Binh Thuan: Covid-19 prevention and control tightened along marine borders
BTO – In the face of complicated development of
Covid-19 pandemic, the provincial Border Guard Command (CPO) has deployed
various measures in the combat against the epidemic. With great determination to
prevent the outbreak, all measures are strictly, synchronously and drastically
implemented along the coastal areas of the province.
Under the newly-promulgated deployment, all the
border guards are put on high alert and ready for patrol, monitor and scrutiny
around the fishing ports, anchoring areas at the coastal borders. The propaganda
and coordination among the authorities at all levels are strengthened to raise
public knowledge of marine borders on epidemic prevention.

In preparation for plans on human resources,
technical facilities, drugs, chemicals, equipment, personal protection, etc. to
meet the requirements of disease prevention in cases of any new Covid-19 cases
found in the province.
The Border Guards of Lien Huong Port, Phu Quy
port will also team up with multiples forces to inspect, supervise, and prevent
the input and output of vehicles and sailors. All the entrance to Vinh Tan port,
Thermo power plants and Phu Quy port must be strictly scrutinized. Foreign
sailors shall not be allowed to reach the shore.
For the sea route from Phan Thiet to Phu Quy,
border checkpoints must coordinate with forces in checking, monitoring the
on-board passengers while urging them to wear face masks during the journeys,
not go to crowded places and notice the nearest medical sector of their health
conditions in case of high fever, cough, difficultly-breathing, etc. People with
any symptom of influenza, please do not hide your illness or try to leave the
residence, but notice the local health authorities for further advice.
