Notably, Duc Linh district is the locality with the most losses from ASF as it culled 26,911 pigs, accounted for 88.7 percent of the whole province’s culled pigs.

Thanks to tight scrutiny, the ASF has been under control and there are no new cases of ASF found in the localities of La Gi, Ham Thuan Bac, Ham Tan, and Phan Thiet.

As of now, Binh Thuan has set up 63 temporary quarantine stations to check up the transport of livestock. The authorities also boost propaganda to raise People’s awareness about the risk of ASF, and guide them how to prevent and disinfect at markets and livestock stables.
